"Random Child is one of those bands that must be heard to fully grasp the material."
-kingcripple.blogspot.com
After nearly 5 years of line up changes and countless months on the creative back burner, Random Child has pulled together an album that more than makes up for lost time. Treatment lives up to the promises that the band's super group (relative to the local scene of course) line up presents. Founder Ian Cory who sang, played piano, and contributed some drums to Treatment, is backed up by guitarist Jack Greenleaf (Bad Teeth), guitarist Eli Sidman (The Floor is Lava), drummer Jonathan Edelstein (Fiasco, Banzai), and bassist Max Coburn (Banzai, Maxo)
Treatment arrives as an odd contrast to the majority's of Random Child's contemporaries. From the psychedelic metal stomp of "Subjects", to the delicate and emotional post rock of "Pilgrimage", and ending with the progressive metal epic "Plague", Treatment explores the world of aggressive music from a unique perspective.
