I am so glad to see that you guys are back in the States this Autumn. Any chance you might make it down South near Tennessee? Would love the chance to hear you again live.
Hey guys, hope you are all well! Good to hear about the new album, looking forward to hearing it! That's another one on my "to buy" list lol. Whereabouts in Falkirk are you playin?
How goes it guys and gals? We pass by often to listen - love you sound! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods, and you haven't been washed away with the wind and rain. Best from Carolyn and Mark in the Midlands.
Hey Bodega.I really like your music, especially ''Smeorach Chlann Dhomhnaill'' which i heard from the BBC 2 Radio Folk Awards CD.Norrie used to live next door to a house my family used to visit in Carloway all the time. He was always singing out in the street. Glad to see he's still keeping musical.
Ok, I need to tell you guys my Bodega story. I saw you last June (maybe July) when you came to the University of Hartford. I was working as an usher at the theater. I loved your music and bought your CD. At the time $20 was a huge expense so I had to borrow some money.
Anyway, I listened to the album non-stop and at the beginning of July went on a month-long road trip with a friend of mine. Every single day on the road, without fail, we listened to Wagon Wheel. No matter where we were or what we were doing. It was an awesome road trip song. We had a guitar so we'd play and sing it in various parks throughout America, even prompting a few sing-a-longs.
So if you hadn't been to all parts of America yet, you have now. Thanks for a kickass roadtrip. And I can't wait to see you again.
yeah i need to get my desktop up and running then i can download all the ics to myspace. ill will let u know when i get all that done. how are u all anyways?
We have a Bodega Bay here in Northern California. Your sounds are lovely and you seem to have good things coming your way.
Check out Lansdale Station's tunes and keep in touch. Us Yanks in this band are very much Scottish in lineage. See you've played the Fairport Convention. We do a wonderful version of the band, "Fairport Convention's" 'Come All Ye';. You can see & hear it on YouTube. www.youtube.com/LansdaleStation
Enjoy and keep makin' that beautiful music, ya'll! cheers, Lauren and Judge Murphy and the Lansdale Station boys
Thanks so much for the add! I recently heard you at Idlewild Presbyterian in Memphis, TN, and it was absolutely fab. I was so glad to hear an actual Scottish group at Clanjamfry this year and hope you will be able to return to this area in future. Loved all your music, but especially the song "You Don't Know"--hoping you guys can make a recording of it soon. My 14-year-old nephew from Falkirk recently visited and I now have him hooked on your CD.
Cheers and all the best to such a talented young band!
Hi. I just wanted to say, on behalf of my band, that you guys are wicked awesome and an inspiration to us. We caught you at the Cincinnati festival, got your CD, and have been listening to it nonstop. Thanks for doing what you do!
I saw your show in Cincinnati, Ohio and I have been regretting not buying a CD ever since. Can I order one? or do you know where I can get one in this area?
