Happy December!

As a winter present for everyone, I'm offering a free novella on my website. Please check it out!

A HAPPILY EVER AFTER OF HER OWN

Melinda Lightfoot, a preschool teacher with an unusual ability to flit in and out of fairy tales, never thought she would get into trouble...

...until the Fairy Tale Police arrest her while she is in Beauty and the Beast. They offer her a deal: Find Beauty, who left the story when Melinda trespassed into it, or be charged with the ultimate crime -- Fairy Tale Killer. If that's not bad enough the Beast tags along in search of his true love, and Melinda starts falling for the fairy tale prince. She must choose between doing the right thing and having her own happily ever after.

Enjoy and happy holidays! :)

What about Buffy's musical episode? The copyright issues have been cleared up and it's actually playing in Houston this weekend! That would be fun. Also...Rosemary's Baby, Ginger Snaps, the original House on Sorority Row, and Bram Stoker's Dracula would be great! I'm growing more and more excited about the massacre everyday. It's my favorite day of the year! :-)

I'm not sure if anyone has suggested it, but Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon would be awesome for this years's Massacre, if you're still looking for movies, that is. And if it's too short notice, I hereby recommend it for Massacre 6.

I'm sure this is way too late, but what the hell:
"Dagon" and "Dolls" for the Gordon films.
"Dagon" because it's awesome and underrated and "Dolls" because I've never seen it!
But, of course, you can't go wrong with "Re-Animator" or "From Beyond."
When does the Massacre 5 site go up? I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Re-Animator is the obvious choice, but I think I'd be disappointed if you didn't show it. How about Gordon's "Black Cat" episode of Masters of Horror?

Any plans for something 3D?

Press Release:

Affecting CHANGE can be a daunting task. Affecting GLOBAL change? Try HERCULEAN. Still, with an issue as big as GLOBAL WARMING, it's going to take an equally enormous effort to make change. One organization is doing just that. It's 350.ORG, the international CLIMATE CHANGE campaign. Partnering with individuals and groups around the world, 350.ORG is changing the way we look at our changing climate. Already, 350.ORG has impacted environmental legislation in America, inspiring politicians to cut carbon 80% by 2050. On October 24th, 2009, 350 goes worldwide.

In coordination with 350's international day of action, ADITA.ORG releases "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT". This compilation consists of a wide variety of artists from around Chicago, the midwest, and beyond. "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT" benefits 350.ORG, with promotion of the October 24th day of action, and monetarily with each sale. ADITA.ORG is the digital home of A DAY IN THE AIR, a personal zine written by Bradley Adita. "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT" is A Day In The Air #24 and the 4th CD to be released since 2000. "Iowahardcore.com(pilation)" was released in 2003.

Rusty, seriously: you MUST get Trick r' Treat for Terror in the Aisles!! Us die hards have been waiting to see this awesome looking movie for 3 years and now we finally have the chance. BUT, the only way we can see it on the big screen is if YOU can secure it for Terror in the Aisles!! Get to work my man, and I can't wait for Terror in the Aisles and Massacre 5!

Hey Rusty,

Awesome event, great line up of movies. Do you know how many people in the audience were doing lines from Aliens? There were quite a few people saying..."Game over man...Game over!!!". But anyway, I always enjoy coming to your events and hope to see you at many more soon.
