Wow... that's a lot of recent comments.

I guess people are getting eager for more horror in their lives. I know I am, and I can't wait for the Summer Massacre. I will also say I'm excited to see Demonology of Desire again. It was witty and bizarre enough for me to forget how pretentious it was.

I stand by the suggestions people have already made like The Beyond, something Argento (preferably Phenomena or Opera), and anything 3-D.

Creepshow and The Cat People were good ideas too.

my massacre request list is like a christmas list -- i don't expect to get everything i ask for, i just provide a lot of options for you to pick from. i hope it doesn't turn out like the last few christmases...

first of all, i second all of the following requests for this year's massacre:
The Lost Boys
Friday 3 in 3D
The Manitou - i agree, that trailer last year killed
The Gate
Return of the Living Dead

also, i would add the following:
Creepers - the giallo dorks aren't going to stop asking for something argento ruined, so this is probably the most tolerable choice.
City of the Living Dead - another one for the giallo kids, but it's supposed to have some transcendent gore a la Zombie, that i'd like to see on the big screen.
Ghost Story
The Sentinel
for something old school, which apparently is a requirement, i'd vote for House of Wax.
The Fog - never seen it, but heard good things; usually a good recipe for the massacre
Creepshow
Maniac Cop

with those last three, the Massacre would have shown all of the horror work of the guy who, really, it needs to be said, is the Must-Have guest at the event this year: Mr. Tom Atkins. it would be the perfect endcap on the three year Night of the Creeps-lovefest the Massacre has secretly become.

Feb 27 2008 7:48 AM

Winter Massacre was fantastic. I thought it was hilarious that Mr. Wise refused the mic...that man scares me more than Robert Englund. He rules.

Summer Massacre suggstions: Neighborhood Watch (totally needs/deserves to be seen on the big screen with an audience)and Maniac. Whatever you end up with will be awesome. See you at the Sci-Fi Spectacular...
Tim

Feb 26 2008 8:33 PM

Feb 26 2008 10:00 AM

Do you have any news on if you will be showing Midnight Meat Train at any of these shows. I know you mentioned it at the Hellraiser showing and I think that it is going to be a great movie.
