Trick 'r' Treat and Best Worst Movie for Terror in the Aisles II and Massacre V, respectively. And, once again, we need Atkins at the Massacre. Show The Fog if you must, but get Atkins!!

Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my 2nd horror novel SACRIFICE was released this month - and is in stores everywhere, including Amazon.com. I hope you'll check out the book! Here are a couple reviews it's gotten:

“SACRIFICE is not for the timid or weak of heart, it is a full frontal assault on your senses. It is a dark, brutal, bloody and terribly frightening book. Everson went deep into some dark abyss to bring this book to the light of day.... I highly recommend Sacrifice.”
—Famous Monsters of Filmland

“John Everson manages in SACRIFICE to dispense buckets of blood, provide edgy perversity, and walk the tenuous tightrope of horror and sex without falling: It’s rather an amazing feat.” –Hell Notes

Rusty, seriously: you MUST get Trick r' Treat for Terror in the Aisles!! Us die hards have been waiting to see this awesome looking movie for 3 years and now we finally have the chance. BUT, the only way we can see it on the big screen is if YOU can secure it for Terror in the Aisles!! Get to work my man, and I can't wait for Terror in the Aisles and Massacre 5!

Hey Rusty,

Awesome event, great line up of movies. Do you know how many people in the audience were doing lines from Aliens? There were quite a few people saying..."Game over man...Game over!!!". But anyway, I always enjoy coming to your events and hope to see you at many more soon.

Looking forward to Part V! A lineup I'd like to see - Phantom of the Opera (Silent), The Black Cat (1934), The Mummy (Hammer), Rosemary's Baby, Theater of Blood, Black Christmas (unless there will be another Winter Massacre!), Bird with the Crystal Plumage, Cemetery Man (Dellamorte Dellamore), Fright Night, Evil Dead 2, Pumpkinhead, Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and Ginger Snaps. Cemetery Man and Ginger Snaps in particular, I think they'd go over really well.

Rusty - Awesome job this year! This was far and away the best Massacre yet. Midnight Meat Train was fucking incredible. Pieces ruled. I remembered how awesome Dead Alive is. Always love seeing Jason on the big screen. I could not fucking believe how many people were there this year! If it stays this big, you may have to move the Massacre to the Portage theatre. Anyway, thanks you for doing this every year. The Massacre is seriously the one thing I look forward to every day of the year. Don't stop!

I had an awesome time this year! The movie lineup was pretty good. The silent movies at the beginning really did not get me in to the spirit but the last ones really did. The best part of the event was the premier of Meat Train which I thought was good. If I could make a suggestion though, I would have liked to have had better vendors there and had a better selection things. I know space is limited but there has to be a better solution to have there. Maybe a switch of venue like the Vic theater or other nostalgic type of theaters in Chicago.

Just a comment.

Thanks again Rusty.

Woot! I had a wonderful time for the fourth year in a row. Although, it would have been absolutely fantastically amazing if you'd played Rosemary's Baby...

This was my 1st Massacre and I had a great time!!!

Thanks for playing "MAY"...it's my favorite film of all time and it was the FIRST time I got the chance to see it on a big screen.

I left after "Pieces" which would've been about the 20 hr. mark or there abouts.

The Music Box is a GORE-gouse theater.
