My first solo album is entitled "Croquet with the Queen. The artwork on the album cover was designed by Kenneth Rougeau, whose myspace site you may visit at Synchronicity 313. Thanks, Ken!!!!!!!!
A local musician/engineer/producer named Clint Lawrence has helped me turn my demo songs into a full-length album. Thanks so much, Clint, for your unending patience and talent. AND, thanks for listening to me. I'd also like to thank Doug Van Sloun of Focus Mastering and Jamie Massie down at Media Services for their patience, as well. I couldn't have it done it without them and many, many other people! :)
Right now, my band and I are in the studio recording a subsequent album. The band's name is Red Queen. As I type, we are on song number 3! Thanks to Bill Curtis, Dave Hughes, Kevin Kerwin, and Tim Pascale for contributing your time and talent!
Love, Peace, and Gratitude, KC

"My love of music first occurred when I was a young girl as I listened to my mother sing to the car radio. I felt there was a genuine element of my mom's character that could only be encountered by others when she sang. Musical expression generally allows some deep part of ourselves to be shared with others; that's important to me because it breaks down superficial barriers between and among people... Music, in short, has become my religion -- it has revealed a loving and genuine portion of God's heart to me, just as it revealed a deep part of my mom's character as she sang to the car radio. I initially discovered a connection with music/songwriting when I was in gradeschool. I wrote my own music to the piano and guitar at that time and kept most of the lyrics and simple recordings of those songs. I also enjoyed singing popular songs while playing piano and guitar to sheet music or by "ear". I sang and played the piano to "Stairway to Heaven" at my high school talent show (and won)...then one of my high school friends introduced me to Dave for the purpose of joining his band -- that's when I felt called to be on stage in a rock band. Between then and now, there have been a series of serendipitous events that have navigated my musical journey to where it is today. It's been a true-to-life journey, complete with its pitfalls and redemptions.
At first, I enjoyed performing cover tunes that matched my musical passion and ability -- I enjoyed seeing people smile when I sang. Gradually, yet unmistakably, my heart lost its desire to perform other people's music. It yearned to share its own music. This happened when I learned to accept the person I was designed to be, taking all aspects of my being into full acknowledgement. I am still learning how to truly love myself. I take the stage today as a real person, and NOT as a performer, and the music I share projects my true character; the message I bring is that we are all loved more than we know, and this love will not cease. EVER. This love binds us to one another, our loving Creator, and eternity...whether or not we care to accept or admit it. Some day soon, this will be known by all who live and have lived, and we will bask in its warmth. Love never fails. I am grateful. My hope is to help bring about peace and love in this world by encouraging people to approach the formidable task of loving themselves...even if I stumble, and stumble, and stumble. I intend to keep walking."
YOU AND KEVIN ROCKED AT THE OZONE LAST NIGHT! Just have to say your voice sounds beautiful... love the song selection! I have listened to all your originals and they already sound familiar too. Post your next performances and give me a shout next time.
We're off for a few months. Marty and I are going to be singing most of the leads now. For NYE, I'm running sound at Arena for DBW. It's going to be really fun! They're great to work with... hope yours is safe and happy! D Roy...
