    Richard James is a singer/song writer and performer based in the South West. After studying Pop & Jazz Music Richard has been successfully focusing on his solo career. Richard's Soulful/Acoustic/Pop style is what they're talking about all over the South West! His gigs have been rapidly growing in popularity, along with his other fan base online through Facebook, Twitter & Myspace. Richard is also in demand for private booking's and corporate functions. Live radio interviews and acoustic live lounge sessions with BBC Radio Devon & ExeterFM have further enhanced his profile. Recently Richard has been showcasing his music at venues such as The Embassy Mayfair, Freedom Soho, The Half-Moon Putney, London and Oceana Night-Club Birmingham. n the Summers of 2009/2010 Richard spent time at Martin Levan's Red Kite Studio in Wales recording his first 13track Album, entitled 'Waiting for The Call', "This is an album full to the brim of singles, not fillers! Very hooky, great melodies, real pop/rock music played with real instruments, and an excellent vocal that is exceptionally clear, smooth!" Adam Isaac. Richard has been the support act for artists such as: Adrian Edmundson, Martian Harley, Jackie Leven, Yes Sir Boss, Rory Ellis and Erick Mongrain. As a street entertainer/ 'Busker', Richard will often be seen playing on Exeter's High Street as well as travelling around other towns and cities in Devon and Cornwall.
