"ROB HAWKINS" is an exceptionally talented entertainer residing in Music City. If you need entertainment for private and corporate events he's your man. Whether it's Rob solo with his acoustic guitar, THE ROB HAWKINS BAND or THE HEARD (a ten-piece corporate horn band).
"A seasoned entertainer that you won't soon forget!!!!"
Born on an Air Force base in Arizona with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove, ROB HAWKINS' artistry is a reflection of real-life. Blessed with a voice somewhere between heaven and hell, he's an entertainer that delivers songs with a "been there done that" attitude that draws in a crowd and holds their attention moving them from the edge of their seat rising to their feet to see what he'll do next. "The one thing I've always been able to do as an entertainer, even in the toughest of crowds of skeptics, is making the people into believers....that I belong on the stage and they are caught in the crossfire. "A train jumping a roller coaster's track, digging up the deepest musical roots" best describes the incendiary, gift wrapped, concoction of music like drinking a moonshine milk-milkshake of emotion. After his family's stint of military service they moved to the Ohio River Valley in the Appalachian Mountains. "I grew up on the wrong side of the river you could skip a rock and hit Kentucky where a bunch of my musical heroes cut there teeth." Basketball and baseball were the preferred activities that kept the Rob and the boys off the streets and out of trouble. Rob joined his first band in high school, went to college in Kentucky, toured in bands, and moved to Nashville to write and record his music. His producers, fellow musicians, and fan-base affectionately call him "Triple-threat" and "The Darkhorse". He grabs his guitar, steps up to the microphone, bears his soul, and this compelling artist goes somewhere else inviting you to take the journey with him to a higher destination."
