I'll admit I was a bit nervous going to Music City Tunes and cutting the first song off the album because I never worked with other musicians of this caliber before or even been in a 5 star recording studio before. I was for sure the lines of communications on how I wanted this song to sound where going to get crossed big time but when Ben started building the song around the melody, I was totally blown away because it sounded so much better then I had imagined in my head. Kimberly Swickard and Dana Jordan came in and sang back up for me which is a good thing 'cause I couldn't have caught that sound without them." Ben Jordan runs Music City Tunes with his mother Dana Jordan who both enjoyed working with the young songwriter and can't wait to "do it again." Hey beauitful, I have been very busy at work with over time and things. Then on the 17 of this month I went in for surgery on my left shoulder. They had to do a reconstruction of it. So not I've got 3 screws and 8 stables holding me together. I'm doing good considering tho. Haven't talked to you in like forever. Don't worry, music is always on my mind just bills take priority right now. I've got sooo many songs I want you to sing for me it's unreal. But I'm sure your busy to and typing one handed isn't fun. Roadblocks have attacked me all year and they keep coming. When I need a break and a breathe of fresh air, I listen to our music we have created.
Still working on some songs but won't be able get them done until later. I'm also trying to advertise in the newspapers to get some some requests for some custom wedding songs, etc. I also want to look into doing a little DJ thing on the side. The job didn't come through for the radio station. They actually cut some jobs. The economy sucks.
