| About Danny Austin |
Texas native Danny Austin’s sound has been described as a unique blend of pop rock, along the lines of Bob Dylan, Rob Thomas and Keith Urban. Austin started songwriting as a senior in high school and hasn’t slowed down in the years since. Early songs such as “I Tried” and “Back To Sane” have become fan favorites and joined the growing collection of over thirty original compositions. His lyrics transcend generations and the young performer has frequently heard himself described as an ‘old soul’. Austin has a distinct mission… “I want to make a difference in the music industry. I try to write songs that help people and actually mean something to someone miles away. I want people to feel it no matter where they are, even if I’ve never met them.” Already generating a buzz in the trendy Central Texas music scene, we can be sure that more will be heard from this young talent for years to come. A local insider summed it up best, “Austin certainly has all the tools and I predict that he is going to be the next big thing. He just wants it more than anyone else.” A bright future awaits.
