The Darebin Music Feast is the primary festival dedicated to song-writing and community music, in all its diverse forms for the Darebin City Council. It is an exciting, all-inclusive festival that includes hundreds of events and celebrates the musical diversity of one of Melbourne’s most thriving musical communities.Within the general principals of the Darebin Music Feast any local musician, organisation or venue can organise an event and be part of the program. The Darebin Music Feast has, in recent years, evolved to become a high profile and well respected Victorian community music festivals, while still retaining its grass roots music ethos. A notable change in recent years has been the inclusion of High Vibes; as the festival’s closing celebration.
