After years of nomadic touring, singer-songwriter Todd Miller and his wife, Jennifer, finally put down roots in rural Virginia. He continues to write, record and perform while balancing teaching and family. His previous solo efforts, There from Here and 2004's Donegal, address issues of faith, loss, lineage and inspiration. After six albums and a dozen years, Todd also continues his work with the Minneapolis-based band Echelon. His most recent project is Mudhouse, an acoustic duo with Brian Spahr. In 2006, Todd travelled to Tanzania to write and record original and traditional music for Humdinger Pictures' documentary "The Shadows of Virtue." You can watch the trailer on the left!
