Movie Moment w/ Allison
This was a music video we did for the song Movie Moment that the lovely model and accomplished actress Allison was nice enough to help us out with. The live footage of the band was shot at the Elbow Room showcase in NYC. The video was played on MTV2 and briefly on VH-1.
I just dig this video of Nickelback covering ZZ Top - KILLER!~.
Sounds Like
Matchbox Twenty, The Goo Goo Dolls, Richard Ashcroft and The Verve, and oh...Me, Myself, and I.
((((((****Jarrett Dean / Music From The Jar****))))))
Born with six fingers and toes on each hand and foot, singer/songwriter Jarrett Dean (Jar) was destined to become one of today's most prolific acoustic/rock/radio friendly songwriters. Jarrett has accumulated a large catalog of radio friendly songs and his most recent CD “Under Shades Of Blue ” has sold thousands of copies at live performances, CD-baby, and over-seas. He has become a very in-demand performer, finishing up a six year stint in various New Jersey, NYC, and Philadelphia venues. One of the shows led to Jarrett appearing on VH1's Top 20 Video Countdown show. Jarrett has accumulated a whole catalog of radio friendly songs and regularly sells CDs at his shows. To date, he has sold thousands of CDs at the many venues he performs.
Jarrett originally hails from a small town in Indiana with a modern pop/rock sound comparable to artists such as Matchbox Twenty, Counting Crows, and the British Rock Movement of The Verve, Oasis, and Coldplay. Jarrett’s original work is exciting, inspirational, and refreshingly genuine. His catchy, rhythmic melodies quite simply capture your audio senses and leave you hankering for more as per the rate at which Jarrett’s independent CDs sell out at his shows! Listening to Jarrett’s music leaves no doubt whatsoever about his talents as an accomplished musician as well as the depth of feeling that is fuelling his desire to become globally recognized as a successful singer/songwriter. Ovation Guitars acknowledged Jarrett’s profound acoustic rock/radio sound by honoring him with the highest level of endorsement.
While honing his performing and writing skills in Indiana, Jarrett built up a large following on the college scene, playing to large crowds at schools such as Purdue, Ball State, and the University of Indiana. After moving to New Jersey, Jarrett quickly earned opening slots for artists such as Jewel, Duncan Sheik, Jars Of Clay, Tori Amos, Tonic, MB20 and many other known pop/rock artists at venues such as the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, the clubs of the burgeoning Hoboken music scene, and new fans that number in the thousands every summer at the Jersey shore. One of the more fun/loose gigs Jarrett recalls was playing to over 10,000 people at a New Years Eve celebration in downtown Red Bank, NJ.
