About me: Why in the sam hell would anyone put the word goat in the title?
It's simple!
Other than the fact that finding a decent domain name with the word music in it is as impossible as finding music on MTV, I have an angle. Let me explain; it is a known fact that goats eat pretty much anything, right? Well, in a cheesy ass way, when it comes to music (in particular) and a wide array of other topics, I will listen to, think about, discuss and consider pretty much anything. All of which will make for an interesting experience for you and me.
I just wanted to create a source where I could use my enormous passion for music and my online marketing know-how to help both you the fan and/or you the artist by passing on any information I come across that will make your life more enjoyable as a fan and more profitable as an artist.
To be more specific, I will be doing reviews of both the live shows that I attend and any music that I hear that kicks ass in any way. Also, along with periodic rants and humorous observations, I will pass on some music news and share any information that I come across that will help you or your band promote your music.
Some of the music styles I will be sharing and commenting on will fall within the realm of the following styles: metal, blues, country, hip hop, rap, rock, funk, acoustic, alternative, R & B, Soul, all generations of Pop, singer-songwriter, bluegrass, swing, whatever style you consider Dean Martin & company (very cool stuff), and all variations in between (I didn't call this the Musicgoat for nothing). I will touch on some more than others but it is pretty wide open.
Eventually, to give you the maximum Musicgoat effect, I will be taking you into the world of podcasting. I am developing the podcast now under the working title "The Melting Pot." You are not going to wanna miss that!
There you have it, subscribe now and return often.
