PROFESSIONAL BIO AND HISTORY
If you’ve not seen Adrian live, perhaps (good) live music is not your thing. Choose any venue that rocks on a regular basis and chances are Adrian has had something to do with it. From playing international festivals and touring with big-ticket artists to jamming in small, crowded bars, playing live is an integral part of Adrian’s success. His stage presence, creative vibe and fierce capacity for picking up music has made him one of the most sought after live guitarists for local and international artists.
Most recently, Adrian experienced the thrill of a lifetime touring as guitarist for Grammy awarded artist, Kylie Minogue. The X Tour, a 75-show world tour set records in the UK and was one of the most successful tours of 2008. For 7 nights the show sold out London’s state of the art 02 Arena – exclusively a top-ticket venue – where the band filmed the tour’s official DVD release. The tour was undoubtedly the highlight of Adrian’s career thus far; “It was the most incredible experience ever! To perform for thousands of people all over the world, for so many different races and languages, was such a huge thrill…” With the X Tour under his belt, Adrian has now performed live in 40 countries and on every continent.
TOURING AND LIVE PERFORMANCES
In years prior, Adrian got his tour legs playing with such talent as Nelly Furtado, who’s ’07 tour took him through sold-out arenas all over Canada and Europe, Divine Brown, Ursula Rucker, Amanda Marshal, Esthero, Jacksoul, Jarvis Church, Snow, Kyprios, Chin Injeti, and many, many more.
Other professional highlights include playing the sold-out – over 100,000 people! – 2004 Glastonbury music festival, opening for Prince and Bryan Adams, playing with Grammy award-winner Randy Crawford in Harare, Zimbabwe and performing for such notables as Stevie Wonder, Jack Nicholson, King Abdullah of the UA Emirates, Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Edson “Pelé” Arantes do Nascimento and former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien.
ECCLECTIC ELECTRIX
Under Adrian’s own production company Ecclectic Electrix (www.musicisageless.com) he produced his first full-length independent CD for singer/songwriter Syreeta Neal (www.myspace.com/syreetaneal) and has produced and written on Lori Nuic’s ‘The Red Book Chronicles’ (www.lorinuic.com), Kyprios’s ‘Say Something’ (www.kyprios.com), and Kayte Burgess’s, “Checked Baggage”, (www.kayteburgess.com). In ‘05 Adrian worked as the musical director for Canadian R&B sensation, Divine Brown.
