Remedy is a live urban music night. It provides the best young performers in London a platform to showcase their music to a wider audience. The music showcased at the events will range from funk to reggae to soul to hip hop and anything else that has that kinda flava. With a live house band present to accompany any artist the emphasis is on live performance and not singing or rapping to backing tracks.
The evening will follow this format. The evening will start around 6-7 with DJs playing laid back soul and R&B creating setting the mood for the evening. Around 8 the band will take to the stage and the warm the audience up. At 9 the first performances will begin. Three to four acts will be given a 20 minute slot each to perform before around 10:30 the headline act will take to the stage. Whatever the main event this is the culmination of the night. After that DJs will play the best in Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, R&B and Broken Beat until the night ends.
Remedy will become an event renowned for fresh quality live music of an Urban persuasion, and will become the place for all aspiring artists to have their music heard.
With residents Beat Boffin spining the best in Hip Hop, Broken Beat, Soul, R&B and Funk the party ain’t gonna stop. So come down and start the weekend a little earlier enjoying a night of real music and entertainment.

Remedy South is the latest night from Music is Remedy. After two and half highly successful years at the Oh!Bar Camden was a brought to an end due to the closure of the bar itself, Remedy South marks our return to the Live scene.
We pride ourselves on providing a platform for the capital's best up and coming artists and allowing them to develop and build upon their fanbase, and providing our audiences with a night filled with good vibes, peeps and tunes!!! Our goals and ambitions still remain the same we're just taking it South of the Thames.
New Cross already has a healthy vibrant Music scene but nothing that really caters for people that love good quality live Soul and HipHop. Within the scene that is currently developing there are very few nights running in South London and even less happening North or South on a Friday or Saturday Night. With the launch of Remedy South we aim to begin changing that, giving people in the "Dirty South" some of the best artists outside of the limelight on a night where they don't have to worry about Work the next day.
Remedy South is gonna be a night all about fun jokes and feeling good on a Friday night Remedy STYLEEEE!!!

Our mates at KDot put us on to this young lady, we checked her out at Ronnie Scots with her band and were blown away! Great vocals and sound full of catchy hooks Soulculture rate her highly and so do we come down and check her out!!!
Played one of our final nights at the Oh!Bar with a gorgeous acoustic set that caught everyone inside the place. Since then she has performed superb sets at Writers Block and UK Soul Jam at the Jazz Cafe with her open honnest style winning her more and more fans. She now has a full live band so expect even more treats!!!
