About me:

Independent Music Law Advice supplies advice and representation to a wide range of artists, bands, record companies, management, publishing companies, digital labels/download sites and many other music related companies. Formed in 2002, our main aim is to provide accurate and up to date information on all issues surrounding music law and to represent our clients offering a service that suits their position within the industry.

In addition to gaining general legal advice from the site, you will be able to contact a Music Law Adviser directly and receive an honest assessment of your situation and be advised the next best step to take whatever the issue. We will then be able to represent you in all music related issues. Independent Music Law Advice is run by an Independent Music Legal Adviser NOT affiliated to a law firm. Support has come from many areas of music including various websites and record labels.

Please Note-All advice on contracts is given with full knowledge and experience of the music industry and its workings. IMLA cannot be held responsible for issues that occur once a contract is signed. AS FEATURED IN THE UNSIGNED GUIDE 2010.
