Currently I help sell/purchase horses for my clients' needs. I also give riding lessons specializing in dressage, hunt seat, equitation and just general learning.
In horse training I work with Arabs/NSHs and specialize in show hack/dressage/hunt and dealing with horses that have been previously mistreated or abused. I am available for training & showing in most disciplines, and have competed at local through National levels. I work with other breeds as well, please email for details.

I'm also an experienced small animal vet tech. Other interests include: yoga, small engine mechanics, racing atvs & snowmobiles, hiking/backpacking & my home in Western NC. I'm a big dog fan, esp. Pit Bulls, Drathaars (have 1) and English Setters (have 1 also), currently I'm owned by 4 lovable dogs :). I'm very active in animal rights and I'm vegetarian. I speak Spanish, German, and Dutch (poorly).

About me: Music & Lyrics Arabians was founded in 2006.
Our company got its name from my late show hack/huntseat/dressage mare BB Lyric++ and FF Night Music my Spanish Arabian hunt horse who helped train me for who I am today!
The Past
I started riding when I was 3 years old and started jumping competitively with thoroughbreds and warmbloods when I was 6. After the Christopher Reeves thing my mom made me quit and we bought an Arabian horse because she had one as a kid and always wanted another. When I was 12 I started doing hunter pleasure with him and when I was 15 I bought BB Lyric++ and rode with Lori Mangan and made Top Ten at the 1999 US Nationals in Hunter Pl. JOTR after owning Lyric for 6 weeks. I also began learning Show Hack and Dressage from Lori as well as saddleseat. When I was 16 I had medical problems that stopped me from riding for some time and stopped riding and training.
In 2004 I started training a western pleasure horse, MLA Raizagold who I've raised since he was 2 months old. It was a wonderful experience getting to work a horse from the ground up. I had been giving riding lessons personally and sold some Half-Arabians for Nordic Training Center to my clients. That's when I first met Chanel as a 2 year old and knew I wanted to train her. In 2006 I began working with Nordic Training Center riding and showing horses in various disciplines and I began training Chanel in Country English. In 2007 Chanel was put up for sale and had a possible buyer, so I decided to take a chance at the wild mare and purchase her myself.
The Present
I currently train mostly half-arabians and NSH for dressage and hunter pleasure, and of course for general purposes. But my NSH I own personally I have trained on my own and through Monty Wallen in Fond du Lac, WI. Monty and I discussed before his death that we should train her for driving & harness, and that's what I intend to do!
I give lessons in show hack, hunt seat, general riding skills, and specifically develop a rider's equitation so they can achieve their dreams in whatever discipline they pursue. I'm also certified as an Advanced Riding Instructor with the Certified Horsemanship Assoc.
The Future
In 2009 I will be showing again with my NSH mare NTC My Chanel in Country English/Show Hack. My Polish Arabian MLA Raizagold will be competing in Western Pleasure. My clients are all at the pleasure hobby level and enjoy showing at local open and 4-H shows in the area.
