Mac's musical friends are:
Vance Hillard - bass, vocals (also plays with Mic Harrison)
Chuck Sharpe - drums
Scott McMahan - guitar, vocals, songwriting
Nate Barrett - drums, percussion (also plays with Artvandalay, Circle Modern Dance)
Brad Coulter - guitar
My band experiences since 1994 have included Copper Sun, Muddy Young, Star Ball Contribution, and The Jobs - in that order. And of course there was The Singing Bartines -- way back in the day!
Influences
The Beatles, The Jayhawks, The White Stripes, Jeff Buckley, and Scott McMahan -- to name a few.
In the Fall of 1991 I was 22, and a good student at Berry College in Rome, Georgia, when I met Michael Holmes, who taught me how to play Webb Wilder and the Indigo Girls on guitar.
Since then, I've studied here and there, married a wonderful woman, and honed my song-writing craft across 100+ songs. Some of those 100+ songs I'll probably never play again. Some, I'm downright proud of.
Pride, of course, is a tremendous waste of time and energy, but every once in a while, when I'm believing that I am that cool, rockin' singer songwritin' guy, I just can't help myself.
That's about it. I work hard. I dig being creative. And I really am always looking for new creative friends. Short, tall, old, spring chicken: I hope you'll all give me a holler.
it was great the waves were big enough to surf every day which almost never happens. it was cold for the first time on the day we left, but before that I think it got up to like 80 a couple times
Hey man, I hope all is well with you and your family. When you get a chance, please delete the comment that has the chick that looks like she's about to get nekkid. I got phished and someone sent that vid to everyone in my friends. I hate computers. I think this Saturday is the Halloween party at the Roadhouse. Have you heard anything?

And if thats not enough...
There is one hell of a party about to happen. Do whatever you have to do to get to the Corner Lounge on Friday the 11th. Seriously, call a friend, call a cab, drive drunk, board a plane (even if it's just across town) , a bus...just get there! You don't want to miss this.
He spoke with the wisdom that can only come from experience, like a guy who went blind because he looked at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it and now goes around the country speaking at high schools about the dangers of looking at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it.
Hey Mac! Look forward to seeing ya at The Secret Palooza! We are going to be playing too! Although is it still a secret if were on here talkin bout it?
