Niki is one of X Factor success stories, Her exciting career in the music industry has spanned more than 20 years and Niki launched her secon single; ‘I Feel Love’ - on September 21st 2009, Which has already proven to be a hit with her fans.
Niki first started singing at the age of thirteen and within three years, she was signed to Libedo Records; an offshoot of Record Label PWL.
In 1990 Niki toured as solo singer with pop stars, Sonia, Lonnie Gordon, Big Fun and Yell.
In 1992 Niki married and had two children and in 1999 Niki made her first TV appearance on BBC’s “Star for a Night”, hosted by Jayne McDonald. Following this Niki was then approached by songwriters, Stunt Masters to record a song used to front a Twix chocolate TV advertising campaign, Which has also been covered by the legendary Anastacia.
Following a break from the industry, she auditioned for XFactor in 2007 and made it to the shows’ semi-final.
Niki sailed through the auditions with positive comment's from all 4 Judges about her rendition of "I Will Always Love You" Then moving onto bootcamp until finally she was chosen to be in the top 12 finalist's over 25-category alongside the amazing Daniel De Bourg & Beverly Trottman, Niki went onto perform Nothing Compares To You, My Heart Will Go On, All That Jazz, Because Of You, Hot Stuff, Power Of Love, Total Eclipse Of The Heart, Fields of Gold, And then competing in the semi-final with Songbird & One Moment In Time
Niki was the first out of the four finalists to record and video her version of 'When You Believe' the winning single for the winner of X Factor 2007. Simon Cowell revealed on an exclusive interview with GMTV that he thought Niki's version of "When You Believe" was the best out of all finalists, A clip of the song was put on her official website www.Niki-Evans.com, Where many X Factor fans agreed with Simon.
Niki released her first single "Love Me No More" in 2008, Which did exceptionally well on Amazon, Beating the 07' winner's 2nd single in the Amazon chart, It's highest position came at 5. The track was originally written for a Warner Bros movie, And the writer of the song believed the track was "The perfect single for Niki".
Niki is now starring the leading role as "Mrs Johnstone" in Bill Kenwright's famous west end show "Blood Brothers" which is based in Liverpool about 2 young scouse boys who were seperated at Birth.
