Marco is a musician/songwriter, martial artist, and closet paranormal investigator (although he'd probably find more if he would stop looking in closets). He is currently working on his new album tentatively titled "People I've Been"............. ..� ...... Marco began his musical quests as a drummer. At the request of several neighbors and family members, he pursued a bit more quiet outlet, the guitar. However, they didn't take into account the possibility of Strats and Marshalls. His musical influences range from everything from Dan Fogelberg to Black Sabbath, and James Taylor to Deep Purple, and practically everything in between....... ..� ...... Marco has planned some local gigs, but has no plans to travel much right now. "I am kind of putting performing aside to work on my new album. I wanted to get it recorded while it's still fresh with me. It was in the mixing stage, but so much new material has come along that the whole concept of the album has changed. Still, it will still be the most autobiographical work to date. There's a lot I want to say on this new album", Marco said. "It seems to be mostly be centered around people I've known over the last couple of years, but some of the songs are from situations going way back. It wasn't intentional, it just happened that way. The first tune written, "A Seasonal Affair", sort of set the mood for the album. That one is from a situation from many moons ago. Who's it about? Well, you figure it out". ...... ..� ......Marco is also gathering musicians for his new band, "Joshua Creek". "I hope to start rehearsals soon to get geared up for some major touring in the spring. This band may take some time to get together. I'm looking for just the right people. The stuff in my head now is just screaming for a full band, so hopefully I'll have it all together by spring." ...... ..� ...... When asked about the rumor that this will be his final project, Marco said, "Who the hell knows? I certainly would like it to be my last solo project, Right now, the music is coming to me pretty quickly and easily, so as long as it keeps flowing, and it stays fun, I'll keep on keeping on. But like everything else I do, it's all open. I put the music away for a long time for different reasons, but for now, I'm having a ball, so don't expect me to go away any time soon. But like I've said before, I could just stop doing it tomorrow...I've been known to do that. There were times that the hassles overshadowed the fun of it all. The bottom line is, when it stops being fun, I'll stop doing it.". So, for those who know him well, if you hear something that sound like YOU, it probably is. Especially on the new album. Marco has suspended his 2009 fall tour. " I will probably do some local gigs, but I don't have any plans to travel much right now. I am kind of putting performing aside to work on my new album.
