Myspace LayoutsIt all started with a punch. Therapy started soon after and I realised that I had to get out there man, had to start expressing myself, daddi-o. I can be seen these days Co-Hosting The Cube Cabaret with the (semi) galmourous Zuleika Zeigfield. Let's just say bad jokes will never go out of style, and any excuse to book Burlesque artistes will be leapt on quicker than a very very quick thing. Music wise I'll play anyhting these days, far out jazz with The Cube Orchestra, Team Brick Trio, Even Further out Jazz with 'Jazz Noise for the masses' Skulpture (on the super Cocktail kit), and more. The mic is always close to hand in case a bad joke is needed...... Movieoke raised its mis-shapen head and I play alongside Piano wunderman Colin Smith and computer host Max Blackout. New World Folk/Indie Supergroup Suzuki Boom Boom have just started gigging, take a snipet of orld a dash of Indie and sultry female vocals and some minor ambition to enjoy ourselves and c'est ici. I'm always looking to collaborate with a good therapist or a bad jazz band. One day I hope to tour the world backing a troupe of Burlesque dancers.

NLF, Soe'za & Bozz Jatch

The Cube, Bristol
This Friday, 14th November
Doors 7.30pm
£4 advance, £5 on the door
(Tickets available from Here Shop and Bristol Ticket Shop)

NLF3
http://www. myspace. com/nlf3
Formed in Paris in 2000, NLF3 create music is cyclical, textured, halfway
between movie scores and psychedelic transgression. The band cites influences
such as Alice Coltrane, Fela Kuti, This Heat, Can and the early Sonic Youth
while mixing a lot of electronics together with a wide variety of instruments :
amplified kalimba, electric guitars and bass, drums, percussions, vocals.

SOE'ZA
http://www. myspace. com/soeza
Soe'za are currently a seven-piece band, hailing from points along the M4
corridor, from Bristol to London. With a somewhat unorthodox line-up of two drum
kits, two electric guitars, bass, French horn, Soe'za mix Can-esque grooves, and
urgent guitars with two disparate yet complimentary singers in the shape of Ben
Owen's clear-voiced declarations and Jenny Robinson's soulful melodies.

BOZZ JATCH
http://www. myspace. com/bozzjatch
Featuring current and ex members of Soeza, The Wailingest Cats and Zun Zun Egui,
Bozz Jatch are an experimental swing trio. Rumbling double bass and intricate
drums give way to complex guitar lines and smooth croons. Yielding a unique pop
sound that marries diverse influences; from Django Reinhart and Charles Mingus
through to the elaborate tapestries of Steve Reich and Tortoise.

The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players with An Axe, Bar Oppo, 22nd September 2008

Decorum presents a last minute tour addition, an intimate performance from The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow players - Monday 22nd of September at Oppo (72 Park Street, Bristol).

The Trachtenburgs are a domestic trio who play quirky indie vaudeville pop songs in the key of unironic good, clean fun with one major catch: all the songs carefully rhyming lyrics come from the vintage slide collections they've found at estate or garage sales that accompany their performances.

What do you mean semi-glamourous! The cheek!
Still, to be honest I do spend a lot of time going round in in sweaty t-shirts weilding a sledgehammer these days...

I've tampered with the Cabaret space to make it simpler, do you approve?

Miss you!!xxzz
