Midwestern singer/songwriters, Nikk Wolfe and Kai Ulrica, collaborated to form the group Wolves at the Door and released their first CD, "Main Street is Empty", in January 2005. Their 2nd Cd "Unforgiven" was released in May 2007. The Wolves progressed from folk rock to just plain rockin'.
Nikk Wolf: Nikk, the zen cowboy weirdo, howls on his guitar leading the Wolves to your door. Inspired by a neighbor with a guitar and late night radio waves of blues, he picked up his guitar and will not put it down until you hear his stories. There are no lies in the truth of his guitar, so let’s rock.
Kai Ulrica: A shy girl found her presence through music being inspired as a child by her grandmother Jerrie and great-granddad Jack who by traveling the Midwest with Jack’s big band, put dreams of music within her. Kai is the voice of the Wolves, whispering soft melodies and screamin’ the blues from her soul.
Roger Brewin: Roger, a recent transplant from the music scene of Seattle, pulls his musical drive from his ancestors back to his great-grandfather who lived by teaching music. Roger keeps the rhythm flowin’ with his backup vocals, arsenal of guitars, and cool gear playing a rock solid rhythm and cool blues leads.
John Jones: John started like a pro at the age of 13 playing in a house bar band with any gear he could borrow until 15. He toured the midwest with a top 40 band right out of high school and has played it all, from indie to covers. John lays down the rhythm that makes the Wolves move and you groove.
Tom Metry: Tom started his first band at the age of 12 with his first guitar but later turned bassist under the influence of Paul McCartney. Been playin’ and tourin’ throughout his life. Tom brings vocals as well as his bass to the Wolves.
