PULSE (Paranormal Unrealistic, Logic and Sense of Energy) is a Music Project founded by a young German Musician. Actually, it's a solo project instead of a full band.
In May 2008, Christoph Jordan, who is the founder of this project and produces the music of it, took the initiative and wrote as much music as he could. The ideas were finally put together to a little Conceptalbum, which is called "The Gore Factory" and is ought to be finished on the 14th November 2008. Right now, he is recording his collected songs; but still expanding his ideas.
The musical style can be described in many ways - It's a try of creating an atmosphere, which fades over to heavy guitarriffs, although there can exist typical piano ballads. The mood is described best with the words "dark" and "depressive", but there can exist songs that are inspired by the style of U2 or Coldplay etc.
The style has changed by now; PULSE has added many other moods, such as "hopeful" and "happy", because the older albums were focussed on a dark and depressive mood. PULSE should be more varied and dynamic, decided Christoph in May 2009.

Im Mai 2008 ergriff Christoph Jordan, welcher Gründer des Projektes ist und all die Musik komponiert, die Initiative und schrieb soviel Musikideen auf wie er nur konnte. Diese Ideen wurden schließlich zu einem kleinen Konzeptalbum zusammengetan, welches "The Gore Factory" heißen wird und warhscheinlich am 14. November 2008 fertiggestellt sein wird. Im Moment ist er in der Aufnahmephase dieses Projektes, erweitert jedoch noch ständig seine Ideen.
Der Musikstil lässt sich auf verschiedene Weise beschreiben - Es wird versucht, eine Atmosphäre aufzubauen, die hinterher in härteren Gitarrenriffs endet, wobei es auch typische Pianoballaden geben kann. Die Stimmung ist mit düster und melancholisch am besten beschrieben, es kann aber auch stiltypische Songs inspiriert von U2, Coldplay etc. geben.
Da es in diesem Projekt (noch) keinen Gesangspart gibt, wird eine Geschichte jeweils im Booklet mitgeliefert, die den roten Faden durch die einzelnen Songs zieht.
PULSE ist im Moment damit beschäftigt, das neue Album zu schreiben udn anschließend aufzunehmen - das Album "The Fist of Salvation" wurde vorläufig abgebrochen, da es nicht PULSE-typisch genug war - eine Veröffentlichung ist trotzdem noch geplant.
Inzwischen hat sich der Stil stark verändert, da PULSE mehr Stimmungen umsetzt. Früher konzentrierte sich Christoph auf die düsteren und melancholischen Stimmungen, jetzt werden auch fröhliche und hoffnungsvolle Stimmungen mit der Musik kreiert.

Pleased to present the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.
