Deep in the backwoods of Dead Man Hollow, Kentucky, lives a very talented young lady named Savannah Faith. She was just five years old when she did her first “gig”, a talent show at her school. She entered the talent show and practiced the night before using a hairbrush as a microphone. At that moment, a star was born.

The youngster, a natural performer, immediately set her sights on performing professionally. She started entering every county fair, festival, talent show, and contest that she could. Over a period of six years, she has performed for many area functions throughout southeastern Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee, and has won many contests, titles, and awards including the Tennessee Traditional Country Female Entertainer of the Year for 2006.

Savannah won the 2006 Renfro Valley Talent Search, where she was awarded $500 studio time, and a spot opening a show at Renfro Valley for country singing star, Jeff Bates, also known as “The Rainbow Man”. Jeff observed Savannah’s show while awaiting his own show backstage and described Savannah’s performance as “unbelievable.” He told her that she did a great job and she could open for him anytime.

For one so young, Savannah has such a stage presence, that it’s simply unbelievable. She comes alive when she sings, and demands the audience’s attention. Performing comes natural. She acts like she’s done it for years. Her father, Steve, who is one of her biggest fans, says he doesn’t know where she comes up with some of the things she does on stage.

She has performed live on TV, and at the Marshal Andy Show, Sunday Chuckwagon Serenade, Mountain Laurel Festival, Daniel Boone Festival, Bell County Fair, Williamsburg Old Fashion Days, World Famous Chicken Festival, and numerous other functions as well as school talent shows.

Longtime radio and television star, Marshal Andy said he thought Savannah has a lot of talent and poise for her age, and a real good start at yodeling.

At 11 years of age, Savannah was named 2007 Future Star of Tomorrow – Female Vocalist of the Year at the North America Country Music Association International (NACMAI) Competition. She performed regularly on weekends at the Nashville Connection, in Harrogate, TN, with the band Silver Clouds, for a little over a year. Savannah’s biggest accomplishment is yet to come.

Now, 13 years old, Savannah is a straight A student. She plans to continue practicing her performing talents and trying to further her career in country music. Her parents are in the process of compiling a music show, and she is working on original music for release on her own CD.
