something really happy and musical with a nice melody and a delicious beat with lots of electronics and occasional chiptune things slightly like maybe if daft punk and the lk and aphex twin and melody club and anamanaguchi had a baby perhaps
Robert J! Lake started gaining interest in the creation of electronic music some time around 2003 after joining the OverClocked ReMix forums, and subsequently started creating music under the name of XFac7R. Over time he learned how to be technically better at it, if not "better better" at it, and as XFac7R's aesthetic was driving him into a corner, musically, he created Polychromatic! in mid 2008 as a completely new project to handle the majority of his aural output. Polychromatic! makes electronic pop music for people that listen to Polychromatic! and his first LP, Dreams, will be out sometime in 2009.
