Tanaka is an improvised music group working and playing together for over four years. Working with many musicians from Israel and all over the world, this group has become an exemplar for improvised music. Each of the musicians has contributed his own unique sound through regular collaboration over the past 4 years. This gives the group a distinctive, tight sound as a whole. The group has recorded four records to date; three of them have already been released. Tanaka has preformed all over Israel, and in September 2009 had their first tour in Germany.
