after headlining our launch party extraordinaire, we thought what better way to round out the year for rubicon than to welcome back the heat. jp and johnny have brought the part-ay to favela like none other and this time they bring their live set-up and good looks for another sweaty back-to-back experience. supporting will be sydney newbies slash party veterens the kite kids, the rubicon djs dCup & ricky t with their super-sexual visual set and rounding out the party downstairs is dj sing.
rubicon's renowned visuals get a shake up the backside this time round so don't miss it... it's for your eyes and your ears...

with an asian-fusion menu and a nightclub enclave that kept paris hilton entertained over the new year, favela is sydney’s newest restaurant/cocktail bar/nightclub. the kings cross hotspot, named after the portuguese word for “slum” thanks to its previous life as a derelict building, sees owners dean dinov and james moses marrying the best of all entertaining worlds, with a few surprises to boot. cue late-night yum cha, a private mosaic-tiled gold room reminiscent of gilded moroccan bath houses, and the new york-meets-ibiza-inspired nightclub. dinner, drinks, dancing? done.
