Music With Equity Collective, was created to support progressive, socially aware song making and aims to carry forward music of different genres that have a common bond of social awareness, struggle, solidarity and fun.
The Collective also aims to be a tool of raising social issues, social responsibility, collective consciousness and political awareness.
The Collective is not party political where pointless attempts are made to force feed a political manifesto down the throats of the unsuspecting
The acoustic show puts together a line up featuring an eclectic / adaptable group of known faces and emerging talent. The Collective will aim to be an ongoing development which will initially involve an adaptable acoustic line up while other Collective projects are being developed..
At a recent event the collective assembled a line up of artists featuring former members of the Selector / The Alarm / Specials AKA / Bad Manners / Bay City Rollers; all highlighting and ensuring extra column inches for the UNISON (South East) NHS Campaign and if appropriate / available will work with other worthy campaigns.
Since then the collective has grown to include extra established and emerging artists.
Line ups can be tailored to suit events / venues large or small.
MWEC also includes an experienced back room team with many years in various campaigns, the trade union movement, the music / production management / broadcasting / cinematic industries etc.
the collective acousitc show will feature any 3 or 4 from: -
Eric Faulkner - former Bay City Rollers
Rhoda Dakar - the Bodysantchers
Nick Welsh - former The Selector & Bad Manners
Dave Sharp - former the Alarm and Stiff Little Fingers
and a range of emerging talent such as Anna Neale, Damian Etherington, David Hughes and Charlie Rolland to name a few....

Hi! Quick gig update. My band is playing this Sunday, Nov 11th at Bar Co in Swansea. It is a great venue for music and has a cool atmosphere. It's located on wind st and starts at 8:30pm. Entry is FREE and they have some great drink deals!
