OK, where do I start. Pandit Jasraj, Hariprasad Chaurasia, Zakir Hussain, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Talvin Singh, Nitin Sawhney, TJ Rehini, heivery Corporation, Fat Boy Slim, Jurassic 5, Madonna (you heard me, I like the sound of electronica elements in pop music), Ray Charles, Duke Ellington, Benny Green, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, T Bone Walker, Chris Thomas King, The Allman Brother's Band (can't you tell?), Kevin Zoernig, Jason Goodyear, Ben Harper, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Tracy Chapman, Bella Fleck and the Flecktones, K7, Punjabi MC, Dead Prez, Outkast, Wyclef, Young MC (I have yet to come up with any rap that I like), and allot more.
We came up with the name "Without Definition," because we wanted our music to be just that, beyond genre. There's so much great music out there; from the many incarnations of Rock, to Jazz, to Blues, to World of all kinds, to Indian Classical (especially), to Hip Hop, to Electronica and everthing inbetween. We love and want to do all of it, but never just one at a time. Some of our favorite music is when people like talvin singh create break beat and ambient style music using tabla beats and India sounds or when Hip artist incorporate Swing and Bebop elements. That's the's kind of stuff we want to do, to draw upon all the different music we enjoy into the music we make.
Our band isn't really a solid group. The "official" members are Rion Lyle and myself (Sat Darshan Khalsa), but it's all inclusive of the people we often work and collaborate with.
We're still in our developmental stages, but we hope what we've done so far is something you all can enjoy.
I hope you are well. As a build up to my album I have released an E.P. titled ‘Cinema for the Ears’. This gives a little taster of what’s to come in the album!!! Some of the songs featured on my myspace page are on the E.P. as well as some new one’s. If you like any of my work, check out the E.P!!!!!
Oh, my fault I must have gave you the wrong link then. The people I use to make make money should be just go here (click here). Well I hope it works for you this time, remember that if the site is not up they are not excepting anyone else. I told you I'm making about $900 a week and it's consistent. Just make sure that you take taxes into consideration, it's a little different than that job your always complaining about.
LOL anyways that is funny about Laura, what else did she say about it? I'm not even going to worry about it ya know? Oh well, call me later or I'll catch you on here, see ya.
Thanks for the comments and checking out our page. Your music is super smooth. Maybe we should play a show together sometime? We're always down for shows.
