The Universe of LAM RIM
Lam Rim are three professional musicians whose style is defined by juxtaposing rock, jazz, soul, Charleston and electronica within a basic pop structure. In 2008, Lam Rim were finalists in one of Spain’s most prestigious music competitions, finishing one vote behind the winners.
The first studio album, Eleven Pieces of Something, was recorded in the band’s studio without the support of a record label but mixed and mastered by Goya Award winner Jose Vinader, who took a serious interest in the project after hearing a demo.
Their music has been used for film and advertising purposes in Spain, South America and the U.K. and featured on radio programs on Spain’s national Radio 3 and the television program No Solo Música. They performed in the FESTIMAD music festival, the Villa de Mostoles pop festival and supported the international band Dover in concert in Valladolid.
