Muskie Bay Resort is on Hwy 71, 70 miles north from International Falls, MN on the Canadian Side. We are located on Crow (Kakagi) Lake 28,000 acres of crystal clear water, along with Lake of the Woods with 14,000 islands and 65,000 miles of shoreline. (Steven Bay Landing) just two miles away from the resort and four other lakes that is available for our guests use. We are surrounded by water but a drive to resort, secluded from and nestled in a small bay. Why be stuck on some island that you can’t leave. We are only fifteen miles south of Sioux Narrows and nine miles north of Nestor Falls, close to restaurants, bars, miniature golf, ice cream stands, weekly community events, and countless lakes. Imagine waters loaded with world-class trophy Muskie, huge northern, fantastic walleye, jumbo perch, large lake trout, battling smalleys, and slab size crappies. In-fishermen December 2006 issue ranked Muskie Bay as one of the top five spots to fish.
American plan Six days, seven night accommodations home cooked meals, breakfast and dinner plus your choice of shore lunch kit or picnic box lunch. 17 foot boat, swivel seats, live well, bait well, trolling motor, locator, minnow bucket, net, gas, daily dock service, maid service, fish cleaning, and packaging, use of boats and motors on remote lakes at no extra charge. Two dozen bait per day, marked maps and instructions on types of fishing you are going after. This also includes one day of free guiding (one guide per group.)
Our cabins all overlook the lake, which is nicely nestled in a small secluded protected bay. We have seven seasonal cabins all equipped with all the comforts of home. Includes electricity, refrigerators with freezers, stoves with ovens, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, pillows, bedding, hot and cold standing showers, and flush toilets. We provide garbage bags, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, picnic table, and charcoal grill.
Corporate Groups and family outings are welcomed .We have finished a duplex that will be able to accommodate groups of up to 18 people, nine people on each side. Each side has three bedrooms and one and a half bath. Kitchen, living area with couch, fireplace, 20 inch TV, DVD player and a three season enclosed porch. Open all Year. We also have a beautiful log cabin that can fit 8 people, one and a half bath, three bedrooms, kitchen, dishwasher, fireplace, 20 inch TV with a VCR, DVD player also open all year.
Main Lodge/Motel Our four-unit motel is located on the third floor above the lodge. Each unit has two double beds and full kitchen facilities. Each room receives daily light maid service, fresh towels, soap, and coffee.
Our main lodge has a pool table, darts, satellite TV and a dining area. You are always welcome to join us in our air conditioned dining area for a hearty breakfast and a homemade dinner. There is extra freezer space, ice to buy, gas, oil, license, lake maps, some bait, tackle, and fish cleaning facilities. Fun for the whole family, as a resort we understand that your vacation isn’t always just about fishing and a trip to Canada is a whole family event. We have trails to hike on and in the fall blueberries to pick. To accommodate our young fisherpersons that cannot spend the entire day in the boat, they can fish right off the dock, catch frogs, we have at our resort a paddle boat, floating trampoline, and we can point you to great picnic islands, natural sand beaches and safe diving cliffs. At night we have a fire pit for the whole family to enjoy. Pets are allowed but will be your responsibility. You must take your pet with you, and pick up after your pet.
Boats We have boats for rent all are equipped with 40 hp motors, with swivel seats, locators, bait bucket, nets, and life jackets and are 17 ft boats. When you rent our boats they are cleaned and serviced awaiting you every morning by 8:00 AM. If you bring your boat we have a great launch and we have ample dock space with electricity at the dock.
Grouse/Duck Hunting Lake of the Woods attracts the northern flights. There are countless shallow backwater bays and ponds offering large masses of wild rice. Mallards, Teals, Wood and Black ducks nest in these areas. As for our grouse hunt, we have a strong population of ruffled grouse; there are countless back roads to adventure on.

Ice Fishing and Snowmobile We are almost as busy in the winter as in the summer, for you people that work so hard all summer who only get away in winter, you’re not missing out, the fishing is great. Also join us snowmobile through thousands of miles of groomed trails. You can snowmobile to lakes that you can only get to by flying to in the summer.
Muskie Bay staff policy is to help our guests to enjoy their stay. We will help out guests find fish, types of lures to use and best type of bait. We will mark up your map with the best fishing spots. We feel guests that are successful fishing and hunting will be repeat guests.
