Let's face it, as Musky hunters we take part in a pursuit that even other fishermen find extreme. For many of us this passion grows to consume without regret the better part of our lives. Sparing neither career, nor family, nor fortune, all in the name of a fishing experience that represents the pinnacle of freshwater angling. Indeed at least part of the reason we hold the musky in such high regard is because of the hold it maintains upon us. After all, it is the top predator, the king of all freshwater game fish that we pursue. Even the smaller specimens make us shake. The larger ones are the stuff of waking dreams. R. Delaney

I was going to go camping over the weekend, but this is definitely NOT camping weather. So me and some friends went to check out Dueling Pianos. Those guys are amazing - they can play just about any song that's been on the radio between 1950 and 2005.
Speaking of music, I wanted to let you know about a show we have @ Station 4 on Friday, October 16th. We are debuting a project called Sonic Transformations. It is a series of audio-visual performance pieces. The first one is called "AN OBJECT TO CRAVE". It features live music and visuals based on a short story about life, love, loss, fantasy, obsession and death.
Another group of mine, The Magnetrons, which plays an exciting and innovative Livetronica set (i.e. STS9, Disco Biscuits, The Histronic) will also be playing. The night will be full of creative, interesting, high-energy music, good drinks and good times.

The Muskys are feeding heavily right now here in the U.P. of Michigan. We've landed 6 in the last few days, ranging from 22 inches to 36 inches. (42 is legal in MI) This is in about 6 hours of fishing, a few hours each evening, all in less than two feet of water. We have had numerous hook-ups, strikes, near misses and followups as well. Hopefully it stays warm a couple more weeks so we can keep on this action and land a keeper! Great adrenaline rush!!!
