Someone who doesn’t make flowers makes thorns. If you are not building rooms where wisdom can be openly spoken, you are building a prison.

stephen's Interests
|
| General | News and documentaries (am a journalist!) music, raving, having fun and cultural exchange. | | Music | +254 rules whether they say they sing gutter...Juacali kwanza, rock music, techno and of course our own mugithi by that Rua character. isnt that Banjuka remix hot? Our own Banjuka (and the remix) has made me gone off the hook. Nice beats Jomino. (and that dude who won the ‘Najivunia kuwa Mkenya concert..vipi bana toa ngoma! Kwani pesa ya Dr. Mutua ilipotea?)
Eric Wainaina is much mature than any other Kenyan artist and I love his beats. Just came from picking his TwendeTwende cd. Nice cover (and the rural look)
Oliver Mtukudzi (he also features in TwendeTwende)…nice and I repeat once again nice stuff that comes off your heart.
Jua Cali- I guess Kiasi was the best bang and Bidii Yangu crowned it all up. He is indeed the king of genge, Nonini should just keep on leading his P-Unit (whatever P stands for; preunit, pussy unit, pombe unit) we care less!
Reggae music… look at my pictures of the Burning Spear concert I attended and for the forst time, there was no ‘serious’ chaos… just the usual mugging!
Mike Rua-those lewd tracks just come in easily after I have had my occasional tusker!
| | Movies | Shawshank redemption (am not in a prison) Prison Break, stuff that features Chris Rock makes up my day..mbele he is my mentor in the humuor world. Shawshank redemption, Finding Nemo, Ice Age, Remember the Titans, Amistad, Oceans (all of them), Road and Boat Trip, Forrest Gump, Original Sin, 300 Men, Troy, King Arthur, Motor Cycle diaries, Juice, 8 Mile, Italian Job among others by Denzel Washington, Chris Rock and Tom Hanks. Am in the process of making a good collection of the movies and I really need help! | | Television | Malcom in the Middle (but let us stop there..you know yourself and what you did!)
My Wife and Kids, Prison Break (I must get the season 3 once it hits the market- even if it will be pirated! Leon is great at that prison break.), Invasion, Lost (I need the other seasons-please help!) Oz, Sleeper Cell (Wake Up George Bush!) and any other comedies! I also love news..after all am a journalist!
| | Books | God i hate books...let me be honest! maybe a newspaper and books that are related to Nationalism and rebellions..just finished Long walk to freedom by Mandela and am starting The motorcycle Dairies by Che Guevara. if you have any literature by Guevara Che, Luther or Mandela..what are you waiting for..share them with me!You give me a novel and am sure you will just snatch it away from me… I don’t like reading although I have covered reading the following; the Bible (Yes!) and Long walk to freedom by Nelson Mandela. If you ever want to gift me a book, am sure it will just be for display at my literature shelf. | | Heroes | I have a passion for nationalists…here is my list - Malcom X (why did he have to die?), Mahatma Gandhi (I know you also adore him!), Che Guevara (thank God he opposed the West influence on a country that he was just a resider..and Castro himself had to make up for the friendship the final minutes) Steve Biko (read his bios and quotes from google-plain truth!) Ken Saro Wiwa (I loved him since reading his letters when he was in jail- nuff respect Ken) and Nelson Mandela (viva Mandela viva) and our own Jomo Kenyatta (including the MauMau..Jomo never fought alone..Infact he never fought for the freedom! I toast and respect all the other Kenyan nationalists-PioGamaPinto,Tom Mboya and our own tribesman Kisoi Munyao who planted the cute flag up that mountaion-osa vinya mukamba!) Steven Spielberg…thanks for those effects that make a movie wrth watching! Finally Bernard Gathiti and this Prison Break actor-Scoffield..this dude makes my day! |

About me:
young man out there to explore the many opportunities this world is offering…making friends, drinking at the end of the week the fruits of my sweat and sharing out my time, duties and any other thing that God granted me.
I love motivation that keeps me going and meeting various people. My mentor once told me that I have the power to meet with a person for one time and the change the rest of the story, as I love interacting and sharing ideas with people from all walks of life. They help shape my perception of life and other issues that make me see the next day.
I love playing basketball, scrabble and table tennis can even make me break a person’s heart as the love I have for these games is unmatchable.
I also consider myself deeply religious and whomever I meet, I always try to fit into their religious system. After all the roads lead to one place and nobody is mightier than the other in this world.

Who I'd like to meet:
The world is full of many breeds of people including you who has taken time to drop by and see who Stephen is. If possible, I wouldn’t mind sharing a talk over many issues during the evenings at coffee café with anybody provided he/she is honest, open and ready for a debate that am sure he/she should be able to know what he is talking about and aiming at improving the lives of the daily Kenyan…can u stand up for the challenge.
Is there anybody who has the chance to hook me up or get me closer to this funny brother called Chris Rock? He sure does make my day.
anybody genuine...mature, responsible---maybe its you! Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence and all those comical dudes who rock the Tv screen.
