Agent M aka M-AN aka Mutant X
Agent is a Producer, DJ and MC from leeds and is one of the first members of the Invizible Circle. With a number of tracks in the pipeline Agent is ready to take the next step and make a name for himself in the uk hip hop sceane.
When asked why he has so many names his first reply was "cause too many people have been copying my name. Mutant has always been my production name and 80% of people know me by that name through my time on radio. Agent is easier to pronounce when dj-ing or when rapping but some people have gotten me mixed up with Agent X (the garage dj)
What does M-AN mean?? "Its a name I made up, it means one with self. Being relaxed with who you are......at peace"
Agent then tells us more on his background................
" Ever since I touched my dads technics hi-fi and getting licks when caught i`ve been into music. My cousins used to have a sound system a had blues parties in the basement. As a kid I used to listen to pop (cause i had no sence of taste) but the sounds of reggae played by my parents and 80`s soul by my sister (micheal jackson, loose ends etc) proved to have a lasting effect on my future productons.
My first stab at making music came when I hooked up a basic atari xe with my brothers gittar and recorded it to tape. Then i raised funds buy an amiga at the last minute instead of an atari st and began making track using the legendary .mod program protracker and moved onto octamed. At this stage (17 years old) I was dj-ing at clubs and on radio (peoples fm+supreme ) and was able to play a few tracks of my own and host freestyle sessions. With people like LP (minority Rules) and DJ Mensa, D Soul, GeeQ making guest appearences on my Rapscallions show. I met Monkee when I saw the Dreamwarriors in leeds and have been friends ever since and Knew Oddball and Thomas Stewart (B.T.I) cause I used to give them demo tracks to listen to on a regular basis.

"Agent.M is a dj/producer for the Mutant Productions and Invizible Circle records based in Leeds Uk.
Agent is an Mc but is more focussed on producing than writing but is involved in freestyle cyphers from time to time. You can catch him spitting verses on the Nice Things Records 1st release entitled Crazy In Leeds.

Our last live performance before our summer holiday will be at the Selby outdoor festival at the James Street 'bowling green' in Selby on the 21st June, the event starts at 1pm and we’ll be on stage at 5pm others on the bill are Dirty Secrets, Chantel McGregor, The Beautiful Sound, Last Gang and headlining is the Bryan Adams Experience, we hope you can be there.

Hiya It’s been busy in the K&Q camp and we’ve a few gigs coming up in the next few weeks. We are starting with a couple of gigs in York, Fibbers 23rd April and Speakeasy 28th April before moving on to the New Roscoe in Leeds on 25th May and then onto Nottingham Trent Students Union, Brackenhurst Bar, NTSU Brackenhurst Campus, Southwell on the 29th May, It would be great to see you at one of them if you can come. love K&Qs xxx
