Mutation: it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species
on the planet. This process is slow, and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia,evolution leaps forward. We're a Belgian Metal band. We try to combine the technicality and the melody of death metal, with the rage and loudness of thrash.
Mutation was born in 2002. First we were 3: Mike (guitar), Coreux (bass), and Andrew (vocals).
The composition started slowly, 'cause we need a drummer. Several additional musicians were tested, but it is at the beginning of 2003 that we finds finally our drummer, Julien. From this day, we started to compose seriously. The concerts followed, the first dating from August 2004. Were followed from there the different ones, with groups like No-Lokost, Lost God, Black Bleeding, Vhan, Coalition, or Live to Die...
