Blue smoke drifting in dark rooms, black clad girls hovering like cats, and the hum of electric guitars as immense as the leviathan.
Mute Angst Envy formed in the smoke filled Upstart Crow coffee house in Campbell/San Jose, California. The early period of the band culminated in the release of the "Trust" EP on Epithet Records, a favorite on the play lists of many college radio stations.
The "Archetype/Trust" CD, released on 21st Circuitry Records, charted on college stations around the country and was distributed internationally. Mute Angst Envy supported this album with many headlining shows, as well as supporting touring acts such as Clan of Xymox and Wolfgang Press.
In 1995, the band took a hiatus, while working on other projects. Keith started LuxoCrush, and was later joined by Paul. Both Keith and Paul also began playing with Lisa Dewey & the Lotus Life (Bella Union), and were priviledged to work with Simon Raymonde of the Cocteau Twins, who both produced and played on the LDLL "Busk" CD!
In 2004, Mute Angst Envy started playing and recording again. The new CD "South 11th Street" is named after the location of the KWR studios, where the album was recorded.
Mute Angst Envy started work on a new record in 2007, and played a few shows around the Bay Area. In 2008, the band remastered their 1991 album "Archetype" and made it available through digital media and a limited number of CDs. New material should be out by early 2009
thank you for your positive comments ... TTOS is an umbrella for other ventures past, and yet to be be ... some of these tracks are from The Joan Of Arc Family, and solanas solanas ... TTOS is a workin title at present but without the personnel ... working on it! I love Mute Angst Envy.

The film will be released on DVD for sale worldwide, in a variety of Independent Video Stores, Amazon, Various online stores, streaming online, and on all torrent sites to insure everyone the opportunity to enjoy the film.
The concept behind the torrent sites is that people will watch the movie and if they like the film that they will go to a designated website or the official myspace website and donate or pay what they thought the film was worth to them.
