Mute with Stupefaction is the bedroom recording project of musician Ben Seretan. The songs produced from his laptop are often exercises in transparent vocal processing, tape loops, found sound, and pop melodies. Using whatever instruments happen to be around and the cheap internal microphone built-in to his computer, the recordings are both decidedly low-fi and excruciatingly labored over.
