Mutsuko Kawamoto was born in Hiroshima. She lived in NY in her girlhood, so her english pronunciation is native.(This is very rare thing in Japanese jazz vocal scene.) She started Jazz career at 2004 in Osaka. When Marleena Shaw came to Osaka to do some vocal clinic, there was so many vocalists, but she said "Perfect!" only to Mutsuko's singing. Mutsuko has many reliance from local musicians in Osaka, especially young jazz musicians. Her style is natural and organic. Her first leader album is sold on August 2008.
