Growing up in Jamaica,has taught him life lessons. .Now he travels the world to proclaim and spread JAH blessings. Through music and collaborations with artist such as Wendy (Wexly) Taylorand Butch Taylor who co-produce/and work with Mutti on the LOVE WILL SURVIVE album(Wexly Taylor co-writer) .He also worked with talent like Jeff Simon on the RIGHTOUS VIMPIRE album which the title track was featured in a film (movie) called Tommy Hopkins...Produced by Justin King.Victor Stephens from Horozion Music Group was one of the first producer to hear Mutti Lewis ( At the time he was the front man for Manna)and believed in his music and took the first chance with him. He went on to produce an album entitled BINKY which was never released. Now in the Spring of 2007 Mutti Lewis will release a new album entitled "CONSCIOUS REVOLUTION", with a very provacative single called, "Gangsters in the House of Parliament".

Mutti Lewis has graced tthe same stage with legendary artists like Toots and the Maytals, Steel Pulse, just to name a few.
He grew up in the shadows of political violence, tribal
war, poverty, and social injustice. Himself, a revolutionary, was his desire to carry on the efforts of the great revolutionaries before him that inspired
him to use music as both the medium of and the
catalyst for social consciousness and political change.
From humble begennings he came, rough and rugged was his journey his realitys was far from being pleasant . His experiences should have made him bitter, instead it made him a better human being. Mutti is in-deed One of the "Keepers of the Flame", his deepest desire is to use his Music as a platform to help to rid the world of segeration ,racism,hate and hunger, which he has experience himself .
He believes "Simplicity is the essence of Life and CHRIST, the SON of THE MOST HIGH, uses Love and simplicity to conquer the world!". His intention is to continue on that path to be a voice for the down trodden and to break the chains of the opressers .If you think you have the right to judge him go ahead and judge him! but it is his vision to one day help to release the mental chackles that still holds so much of his brothers and sisters in bondage .

He has the deepest respect for the elderly, little children, women and the down-trodden. He identifies himself with the underprivilage because he never pretend not to be one, but is very concern about the derogatory slogans that the youths of today uses in the street and in their music .Mutti belives that music can start a Revolution as well as end a Revolution and bring peace, but if used wrongly can also destroy. When we are young and gifted and Black, we should refuse to take the road that was design for our destruction. Though music is an expression of ones inner soul thoughts and emotions it should not be taken for granted but, when skillfully crafted could give to life a brand new meaning.
.In the early seventeen to eighteen centry, artistes was looked upon as gods because they had the power to change trends and time. They would transcend a sense of immortality to words and melodies. He believes that we should use this platform to up-lift our people and our race. He thinks that we should STOP destroying ourselves with words like NIGGAS, WHORES AND BITCHES. These are all negetive connotations that leave deep scars in the attic of our subconcious and in return take our people two steps backwards instead of one step foward."Women of virture and prospectives, prince and princesses should not give ear to creeping comprimise if this is pop culture, I wonder who decides...If we forget the struggles we will never go forward" he says.
From the Bob Marleys, the Harry Bella Fontas, the Mohamid Alis, the Oprah Whimphrys, Stevie Wonders, Bill Cosbys to the James Browns : just to name a few has set standards that are attainable LEGACIES that inspire nations to endure and pursue. Mutti believes that all this negativity that is been passed on to the next generation is "Politically incorrect as it may sound ".Moreover it is unfair, selfish and wicked and will one day come back to haunt us and eventually destroy us. If you think education is expensive try ignorance. He believes that it is by design that the Industry spends MILLIONS of DOLLARS promoting ignorance that is keeping our people mentally shackled while our opressers gain power and breathe wealth. He belives that it is time for his people to "emancipate themselves from mental slavery..." and start a CONCIOUS REVOLUTION , one which will uplift of the minds of our fellow men. Believing that the "pen is mightier than the sword and our VOICES are mightier than the pen".
He has never let the struggle consume him , knowing that when you are in the jungle only the fittest of the fittest survives . Mutti has vowed to become " One Of The Keepers Of The Flames" understanding that evil can only prevail when good men and women sits and does nothing. As Mutti has stated "sometimes you have to create WAR to make PEACE " but his intentions is to used LOVE as his ammunition Knowing that Only LOVE will Survive .......

Muttis music is a spiritual amalgamation of love and hope inspired by his recognition and
appreciation of the blessings he has received from The Most High. As he looks back on life,
he realizes that the struggles he encountered on this journey instilled in him the character
that, through his music, he uses to inspire others to never give up.
