We don't maintain a work force to feed and walk animals. Instead our shelters are created in homes. Many people have already experienced a dog rescue. It is no different, except this time they have the support of experts, and a network of support to promote the re-homing of their rescued pet.
MuttShack was one of first animal rescue organizations to arrive after Hurricane Katrina hit, and the last to leave. It is now the official animal evacuation organization for the state of Louisanna in the event of another disaster.
