MUV bandisce un concorso, rivolto a giovani artisti, per opere video dedicate al rapporto tra immagine elettronica, tecnologia sostenibile e natura, capaci di raccontare e promuovere una nuova e necessaria sensibilità ambientale.

Un progetto dell'associazione culturale MUV e dell’organizzazione eventi INTOOITIV.
MUV è una collettiva ad intermittenza visiva e sonora, un evento che indaga un universo di linguaggi che si intersecano: le arti digitali e la musica elettronica.
Giunto alla sua quinta edizione, il festival, si svolgerà dal 9 al 14 giugno 2009 nella location del Sferisterio "Tamburello" del Parco delle Cascine a Firenze.
Il festival, prodotto dell'associazione culturale MUV e dall’organizzazione eventi INTOOITIV, punta ad una ricerca sempre più accurata di opere ed autori del panorama italiano ed internazionale, attraverso il coinvolgimento di artisti affermati e giovani emergenti, che si muovono nello scenario multimediale contemporaneo.
Quale contenitore culturale, il festival ospita installazioni audiovisive, dj/vj e live set, rassegne video selezionate, ma anche incontri e workshop con operatori del settore.
Quest'anno il festival si apre alle attualissime tematiche della sostenibilità ambientale e chiama a raccolta sperimentatori elettronici, techno-visionari, progettisti dell'immateriale, attivisti e designer capaci di pensare un futuro sostenibile nel quale la tecnologia evoluta sia il miglior antidoto alla distruzione del pianeta.
Musica elettronica e arte digitale escono fuori da un’ottica di puro entertainment, e il festival diventa un’occasione per approfondire la ricerca nel settore della creazione digitale e per creare una rete di connessioni tra realtà diverse che operano nello stesso circuito artistico.
Intendiamo sviluppare gemellaggi con altre realtà italiane ed europee, per favorire il passaggio di cultura e promuovere la città di Firenze all’interno del panorama internazionale.

BMM 33 Tantrum Light LSD Island EP with the remixes of Paul Hunter, Da Trash & Zimaleto Genre: Minimal, Techno, Tech-House.
Some comments: Carsten Rausch: The Da Trash Remix is a cool piece of percussive Techno. I will definetely play that. Dave James: Yeh I like the original trippy vocals. Galuszka: Tantrum Light offers a track that is straight up techno. The mood of the original mix is very Terminator 2 (Judgment Day) in its vocal work and sound choice. The remixes of this project ad funk, especially the Da Trash remix with it's rolling quality. Bodgan Taran: I just love the melody on Zimaleto remix of LSD Island. The Reddman: I listened all the remixes and was very impressed! I have to say I just loved the Paul Hunter remix of the LSD Island track. There was something about it that just kept the groove going for me. Moog Conspiracy (Elektrotribe / Buena Onda): I ll play Tantrum light - Da Trash remix. Marc Fuccio (Fresh DJS): Favoutite mix is Paul Hunter remix. Wicked groove of a bass line that instantly got me to my feet. Great production and construction. Graeme Park: I really like the Zimaleto Remix of Tantrum Light's LSD Island. Such a great groove. <a href="//www.beat
Yo Muv festivalasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now). It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them. Please come to our page, give it a listen and let us know if it makes you feel like something catastrophic is gonna happen.
