Muvuca started from the Brasil Na Minha Alma clubnights which ran from 2003-4 in Birmingham. We've busked in Brum, played on moving escalators at Selfridges, accompanied the bride and groom in front of 1,000 people at a Sikh Wedding - we played anywhere we could fit the drums in! In short, we loved entertaining and loved making dirty, dirty rhythms. Hot damn.
But as you may have guessed, sadly Muvuca Rhythm Section is no more.
We would like to everyone who has played with us and supported us over the years. Keep on dancing!
Just to let you know I've launched a new website: www.StressFreePrint.co.uk. If you get a sec, please take a look around and let me know what you think. As always, give me a shout if you need any leaflets, flyers or posters to promote your gigs. Hope I can help you out sometime.
Take care and keep up the good work, Tom.
P.S. Cheers for your friendship. As a thank you, enter voucher code 'myspace' when ordering leaflet printing, flyer printing or poster printing and I'll knock 15 quid off the cost!

OK, listen up, This is your weekend. I've got an awesome gig for you on Friday and for the very reasonable price of four squids. It's the ever impressive Mr. Elephant at The Hare 'n' Hounds in Kings Heath. There's free CDs and Kazoos and all sorts of cabaret based behaviour as well as the usual excelent line up of bands and DJs (including Marc Reck and Lopan), undoubtedly some drumming shenanigans and probably some drinks offers too.
On Saturday it's the last Dirty Soul System Allnighter at The Church Inn. If you've not been before, this is your last chance. If you have, you know you won't want to miss this. It'll be another blend of beats covering Dubstep, Breakbeat and D&B and all for the very reasonable price of absolutely buck Shee! I'm warning you now, you may find yourself staggering out of the place in a semi-deranged state at 9 O'clock Sunday morning.
So there you go. A whole weekend of quality raving for £4.
