About me:
muzic.net.nz is all about New Zealand Music. From bands jamming in the back shed, to kiwi super-stars. We cover it all.
About muzic.net.nz:
muzic.net.nz is a 100% kiwi owned and operated website aimed at supporting New Zealand music - both signed bands and musicians and independents.
Originally created in 2001, the website is now considered a cornerstone of New Zealand music on the Internet, visited by thousands of people from all over the world each day.
Since it's inception, the original goal of muzic.net.nz has always been to build awareness of New Zealand music, and this has been further helped in recent years by the increase of radio and television play-listing of music prepared by our country's musicians. A few years ago, the general public would struggle to name more than a handful of local artists, while here in 2006 most people wouldn't struggle in naming a few dozen!
Continuing growth means that muzic.net.nz now has over 2,000 bands and musicians in it's database, with in-depth information on all of them. Other areas of the website continue to expand, with the gig guide now listing more than 200 gigs each week and full track-listings of NZ albums now in excess of 2,500.
