HOLA MI AMIGOS!!! Mi nombre es E.J. Cartagena, and I guess this is the part where i tell you a little about myself. Well for starters, I am a born-again Christian. I love Jesus Christ with everything that I am, and if it were not for Him reaching in to the wretched hole I was in and pulling me out, cleaning me off and saving my sorry soul I would be absolutely NOWHERE in life today. I go to church at Horizons Church. We have an AWESOME middle/high school ministry called Big God Youth Ministries...it's an AWESOME group of teens that I consider my little brothers and sisters and am proud to work with.
I have been a proud employee of Chick-fil-A at Meadowbrook Mall since 2004, but I'm getting ready to transfer to the new Chick-fil-A at Emily Drive (10-29-09 BAYBEE!!!)
Since June 29, 2007, I have been in a relationship with my best friend and the love of my life, ERIN COURTNEY MCDANIEL. I love her more and more with every day that passes and am looking forward to the day where I can slip my ring on her finger and take her as my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part. ♥
I LOVE music...it's my LIFE. I'm a HUGE metalhead, but have been getting into a lot more alternative rock styles lately. My favorite type of music is Christian heavy metal (get your brain out of the 1500's, it's not an oxymoron). As you may be able to tell, I am absolutely OBSESSED with the Christian heavy metal band DEMON HUNTER because they OWN. NEW ALBUM COMING 2010, BAYBEE!!!
I love to play drums. I play drums for the BGYM Worship Team, and I also play drums and sing for Absence of Misery, a side band I started with some BGYM friends.
