Mike Noriega, a native of San Antonio, Texas born and raised started his endeavor for music at the age of 12. Mike has had sufficient influence being raised in a family that is musically inclined. Being just as musically inclined, he began to teach himself certain instruments that would later on benefit his musical ability to produce music. Mike has been classically trained in instruments ranging from all forms of general percussion to reed woodwinds and pipe woodwinds to brass instruments to the piano. Ironically, Mike cannot figure out how to play the guitar. During his freshman year of high school, Mike explored his vocal talents due to a particular friend who encouraged him to express his voice through song. Since then, Mike has known that he was meant to be heard worldwide.
During his sophomore year in high school, Mike recorded his first professional demo in a studio located in Comfort, Texas. Mike passed out the demo to his peers and to his new acquaintances he met from then on.
Mike was on a hustle to be heard and to be represented and secured by obtaining a signed agreement with a record label. Many so-called producers, managers, and other figures who seemed to hold some sort of power in the music business toyed with Mike as they gave him the run-around. Mike had lost almost all hope for success in the business. Mike continued to work with his friends and other local artists to keep his game flowing. Soon later, Mike decided to make his own music rather than to continue waiting and relying on someone else to do that for him. During his senior year in high school, he started producing his own tracks. He also worked on minor projects with his friends from school and advanced quickly from amateur to now being in demand for his work. Mike had become hungry for exposure. Mike became stagnant for about a year until he decided to dedicate his life to God.
In April of 2006, Mike was introduced to a church that engraved a deep and lasting impression in his spirit. Mike immediately inquired about being a part of the church's Praise Team. After undergoing an 8 week probationary period, Mike was then a member of the church he had been attending and a part of it's praise team. Mike soon after decided to get re-baptized and to show God's glory through his life. Mike has established himself as a singer/sound producer and has trademarked his official production name as Muzik Mike Productionz--.
Soon after seeking God, Mike was asked to work with an independent record label named, Cloud 9 High Productions. This record label has been a huge blessing in the life of Mike Noriega and he has high hopes of continuing his journey with this label and all the wonderful people that make up its greatness. His love goes out to them.
Mike, being a 21 year old hispanic male has set him back but only by GOD shall he surpass all the stereotype and typical standards set by our modern pop culture society.
By God's grace, Mike Noriega will become great.
