John Z is a keyboard player/producer, songwriter/beatmaker based in Long Island NY. He's been in the NYC area since 1998 and plays with several LI and NYC bands including The Usual Suspects (www.suspectsband.com), The New York Connection, Fran Diamond and The Hits and Gaudet.(http://www.gaudetband.com)He's toured the east coast and midwest with Phil Accardis Chalice and played behind The Coasters as well as played in opening acts for Debra Gibson, Tavarez, and Le Chic.
JZ runs Earthtone Music Productions (www.earthtonemusic.net) where he works with many other artists of all genres. He engineered and produced "Next In Line" for George Banton which hit 1 on the gospel charts in Jamaica.
The original songs that JZ writes and records features vocalists Mark Grant and Barbie Mignot as well as some of the best musicians on Long Island. The instrumental music is all played and produced by JZ. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
