MySpace a place for friends

It all Started in 8th grade Cedric Aka King Star was writing his own music and making beats with a program called Fruity Loops. Cedric went to Lakeview High school and he was focused on music, girls, and sports, his beats began to get better and better that’s when he formed a group called Cliffwood G’s/3rd Coast Kings with his Brother King Clean and childhood friend King Qun dropped a CD and had the block on fire with it. Next year He met up with J Crutch who went to middle school with him, J crutch introduced him to Mardae aka MD Cameron aka Cam, Bama Boy, Big Blake, and Lil L and he introduced them to his brother Travis aka King Clean. That’s when they all decided to collaborate on a song together. It went pretty hard, so they eventually decided to make a group that’s how MVP was formed. They made a series of 4 cds in high school called Southside Connections volume 1, 2, and 3, and the last one was Called “Unsigned hype.”

MVP graduated in 2007, Cedric received a Roland 808 Beat machine after graduation he didn’t know what to do with it but eventually learned how to use it and soon mastered his craft. Summer after Graduation they started working with a local label, Tony Low Records where they dropped hits such as “Ass on Deck,” “Beast Mode,” Off da Chain,” and “B**** I’m Fresh” which pushed them to a higher platform and solidified them as a force in the Dallas music scene.

In 2008 they started “Southern Lights entertainment” and released their fifth album “Swagg City” which included a number of hits such as Roll Ya Neck, Hood Bounce, and Hellumean. M.V.P. continues to live up to thier name and continues to be the best in their sport which is the Music Industry. They’ve proved that they’re not in the one wonder category. Now they’ve circulated in the streets and they have been played in all the major clubs in the Dallas metroplex, and created a BIG internet buzz as well as in the streets. Currently working on the “Kush’d on Kontakt” CD and album as well as the “Swagg City” series, with plans for big things in ’09 . Watch out for more “HITS” to come.
