Hello to you all and welcome to my page. My name is Matthew Watering a.k.a DJ H2O. I have been DJ'ing hard trance and techno since 1999 and producing since 2004, I also run a digital recording label called 'PRO STATE DIGITAL RECORDINGS' which has seen releases from the likes of AUDIOWARP, MAUGAZUN, MECHA L-YEN, LOKI, AUTOIMMUNE, PHT and of course myself DJ H2O. When signing tracks for my label I try to encourage a diverse tech/trance sound.
Over the years when it comes to DJing I have played on nights including some of the biggest names in the scene, some of these include LISA LASHES, AMBER D, LEE HASLAM, CHRIS LIBERATOR, MC RIBBZ, SAM PUNK, ORGAN DONARS, ANNE SAVAGE, BK, CHRIS C, BLUTONIUM BOY, SHARKEY, KAMUI, LOUK and these are naming just a few.
When it comes to releases I had a track called 'Bloodshot' which I produced with AUTOIMMUNE(Ross Mackenzie) released on a Slovenia based label called 'SOUND EVOLUTION', this label is run by a successful DJ and producer, Mark Ankh. I also had a remix which I done of LOKI's 'Triton' track released on a Plymouth based label called 'TERMINAL TRAXX' and I also done a remix of a track called 'Infused' by 'DANTES' for 'LIQUID PULSE RECORDS'. Most of my other releases can be found on my own imprint 'PRO STATE DIGITAL RECORDINGS'.
Back in 2003/4 I completed and advanced DJ/Technology diploma at Sheffields 'RELATED RHYTHM STUDIOS'(Sheffield Music College) and not to long after I studied for my BTEC in Sound Engineering at Plymouths 'DEEP BLUE SOUND STUDIOS' although I only completed my part 1 as I felt the course was taking me in directions I didn't want to go, just wanted at the time to concentrate purely on production.
I would say over all music is a huge part of my life, especially electronic music, styles I love to listen to include hard trance, tech/trance, techno, drum and bass, a bit of house and electro but I am also pretty open minded with music, this has to go with out saying, if it's good I like it!
