I wanted to start a site where people can really express what they are going through being a militay wife, fiance, girl friend, family or what ever..

My hero hands down, without a shadow of a doubt is my husband, Jason. My husband is my hero not only because of the sacrifices he makes being deployed overseas, not only because he served a 9 month tour in Iraq, and not only because he is a wonderful husband. He is my hero for all these reasons, but above all else he is my hero because he sees me for exactly who I am inside and out. He embraces all my ambitions, hopes, and dreams and is truly my biggest fan. He was my constant source of strength and support while grieving the loss of my brother in the early times of our relationship. He has never taken for granted all the times I missed nights out, or events with my family for the endless waiting for that 7 mintues on webcam or the 2 minute phone calls. He encouraged me to stay busy, but knew he was the most important thing in my life. He was the epitomy of strength and grace while dealing with the loss of his best friend, also a Marine, who passed while Jason was in Iraq. It was so hard for him not to be here with his friends and family while they grieved. It broke my heart to know there was nothing I could do for him but support him in the capacity he had supported me from so far away. He has served the last two years overseas in Okinawa, and has always put me first even from thousands of miles away. I can honestly say I have never loved, respected, or appreciate anyone more than I do Jason. He is my best friend and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful man to share my life with. My husband is my hero not only because of the uniform he wears, but because of the character of the man who is inside. To many my husband may be an ordinary man, but to me he is EXTRAORDINARY
