Hakkımda:
My Favorite Dress (named for the brilliant Wedding Present song of the same name, but de-Anglophied in spelling) began as melancholy tweeish/indie pop sulkfest of sorts in June of 2005. It is hosted quarterly (mostly) downstairs at Cafe Saint-Ex by your DJs the holiday girl (Holly Tegeler) and Kathryn Wildt.
Currently, My Favorite Dress is a sometimes joyous, sometimes bittersweet mix of twee-ish guitars, indie pop, motown, jangle pop, garage, power pop, noisy psych and shoegaze. But generally, we play whatever we feel like. And sometimes that means Michael Jackson (R.I.P.).
