About My Alamo

Fresh from a year of touring and releasing their debut album, My Alamo emerge from the woods as the sun rises on summer 2008.

With a new albums worth of material already recorded, work on album 2 continues. 2007 saw the band play major festivals (Download, Oxegen) and highly well received supports including the explosive winter UK tour with The Zico Chain.

Already critically acclaimed in Kerrang! (4 k's 'this crackling taut debut casts a satisfyingly heavy shadow - brilliant') and Rock Sound ( 7 /10 'Modern punk spirit and bags of raw energy these tracks stand out every time') My Alamo's eponymous debut is available to buy via the bands own label 7th Star Recordings. on friday 18th May the boys played a FREE outdoor Unplugged Acoustic set in Victoria Square Central Birmingham for the charity Shelter as part of Shelter's "Wall of Shame" regional tour. fans saw a stripped down My Alamo set of songs from debut album released in november 2007.

So believe this when we say that you My Alamo are very important to us, just as important as the other 1000 people who are on my personal and the Exiles MySpace page. My Alamo you may think that you aren’t special to us but My Alamo Exiles (like Metallica) loves you. So where My Alamo are you going to get your fix of awesome music this week because Exiles Birmingham’s Genre Straddling Rock Behemoth is just itching to give you My Alamo a dose of sticky Rock infection every Thursday leaving you My Alamo feeling dirty and molested.
